About Volume 1: Our Community

This first book in our new basic Judaism series introduces the key concept of the Jewish community. Through stories, interviews, and activities students will discover how our community brings us together, providing a lifelong connection to our heritage, culture, and values.

About Volume 2: Sacred Time

This second book is about living according to Jewish time - the Jewish calendar, Shabbat and the cycle of holidays, and life cycle events. It examines a Jewish view of time through the lens of Jewish identity - our shared history and stories, language, symbols and rituals, and ethical teachings. Students will develop an understanding of how time is an important and sacred part of Jewish life.
