Hebrew playing cards with letters, without hints

Hooked on Hebrew Alphabet 1: Hebrew Alphabet with Hints will be back in stock in mid-September.

Hooked on Hebrew is a game-based way to proactice Hebrew letters and prayers. Reinforcing Hebrew letters is easy and fun becasue it works by playing card games--at home, in a school setting, and even online.

Why card games? Well, they're fun and engaging. The more fun learners have, the more time they spend practicing. These card games also lend themselves to easy intergenerational play (even for those who know little or no Hebrew) so Hooked on Hebrew is a great resource to make available to families for non-screen ways to develop and reinforce Hebrew skills at home.

Hooked on Hebrew Hebrew Alphabet 2 without hints, like the beginner pack, Hebrew Alphabet 1, contains two cards each of 24 letters. Bet/vet and pey/fey are each doubled on one card. Shin, sin, kaf, and chaf are all on separate cards. Final forms of mem, nun, kaf, chaf, fey, and tsadee are shown on the same cards with their regular forms.

The deck also includes: a monster card, a summary card with all the letters, and directions for playing some of the card games. Additional downloadable directions and printable game borads are available HERE.

You can play more than ten different games with this deck, including Go Fish, Memory, War, Bingo, and Gin Rummy. Each game can be played one-on-ne, in samll groups, or in teams. Sme of the games can be played on Zoom or other remote learning platforms.

Hooked on Hebrew is a game-based way to practice Hebrew letters and prayers. The playing cards can be used to play a wide variety of games in school, at home, and even remotely.

There are up to 15 different games that can be played with each deck, including Go Fish, Memory, War, Bingo, Gin Rummy, Crazy 8s, and more.
