Unsure how to phrase language around registration and what school will look like this fall?

Here's some sample language, from our friends at Temple Emanu-el in Westfield, New Jersey:

Subject: What We've Learned and What We Know About Next Year

Dear Families,

At the time that we enacted our remote learning plan, we anticipated a temporary situation. Our plan was intended to keep us connected for a few weeks and to educate our learners in a meaningful way. We have certainly learned a lot since then about how to best teach and learn in a virtual world.

With these experiences in mind, we are planning for several scenarios in a new year of learning that will educate, engage and meet our high expectations for excellence in teaching and learning. This includes all programs of Hebrew and Judaics for K - 12th grade, B'nai Mitzvah preparation, Confirmation, the Madrichim Leadership program, and several opportunities for youth and family engagement. We are optimistic about this coming year and excited to be thinking in new ways how this sacred community extends far beyond the walls of our physical space. Within the guidelines from the state and local authorities and the CDC recommendations for gatherings and events, we will reopen our program this fall. Be it in person, virtually, or some combination of those, the faculty and staff will be ready and awaiting your return.  Our calendar is set, our programs are planned, and we want your family to be a part of it all!

As always, health and safety will remain our priority. When more information is available to us, and as guidelines provide a more clear path to reopening our doors, we will communicate that information to you. Registration will remain on a first received basis. Late registrations do make it difficult for us to accommodate friend requests. Kindly complete the registration and let us know that we should save a space for your child.

Warmly,

[your name]
