What will change for us under the new ownership?
Almost nothing! All Behrman House staff are staying with the company and all ordering, shipping, and billing processes stay the same. We’re staying put in our editorial offices in Millburn NJ, and our website remains the same. David and Vicki will be working with the new leadership over the coming months to ensure a smooth transition.
How will the publishing program change with new leadership?
Behrman House will continue to focus on meeting the needs of Jewish educators and the Jewish community. Apples & Honey Press will continue to publish great Jewish children’s books. We’re also contemplating new publishing categories that align with our existing publishing and intend to increase the marketing outreach for all our books.
Will you continue to publish educational books for religious schools?
Yes! And we have some important new ones coming very soon. Coming in February this year: A Different Spirit: Creating Meaningful B’nai Mitzvah Experiences for Children with Disabilities in early February. Early this summer we will be releasing unique new character-focused Bible curriculum for 5th-7th graders, Positively Torah: The Superpower of Character that applies the strengths-spotting techniques of positive psychology to Bible study. Stay tuned!
Will the books I use now still be available?
Yes! While books do go out of print occasionally, we will still keep all our titles in print for as long as possible so they remain available.

As always, when you log in to the website using your school account, you get a 5% discount on teacher resources and Judaica texts, as well as quantity discounts on storybooks and other trade titles, haggadahs, and liturgical resources.
Can I still order on my school account and get an invoice?
