Hebrew in Harmony Digital is now easier to access than ever before. Administrators, teachers, and students can now set up and sign in from the app itself.

This means quicker and easier access to all the music, videos, and Hebrew practice and recording options that are essential to the rich learning of Hebrew in Harmony.

No more email addresses to collect or passwords to remember - the app will remember users every time using a simple one-time code.

 How It Works:

  • • Purchase licenses for the app (one per user) from behrmanhouse.com. Make sure you're signed into your school account so that we can transfer the licenses to you. If you don't have an account, you can create one on the spot.

(Note: Each Hebrew in Harmony Curriculum Core also comes with two complimentary licenses.)

  • • Download and open the app or view it on a computer. The administrator or education director will be prompted to sign into the app using the school account email and password that was used to purchase Hebrew in Harmony Digital. This is a one-time-only step.
  • • Enter a class name. The app will then automatically generate a 7-digit code - ONE code for all the students in a class, and ONE code for the teachers. Distribute the codes to everyone in the class.
  • • Direct students and teachers to download the app. The app will prompt them to enter the class code. Students do NOT need an email address. Students will simply enter their name and then will be automatically connected to their class in the app. They will not need to remember the code.

This is a one-time only setup. The next time any student, teacher, or administrator opens the app, they will be directly in Hebrew in Harmony Digital.

We have unused licenses. Can we use them in the new system?

Yes, as long as they have not yet been passed to an OLC classroom.

 

How do we import the list of students and teachers into the app?

Students and teachers now will self-register by entering a code. You never have to create or import a list of users.

The app will track how many students and teachers register using the codes and will count down the number of available licenses.

Note: If you're already set up with Hebrew in Harmony Digital in the Online Learning Center, you can continue to access it there. What is described here is another option that we think is simpler and easier.

Where do I get the code to give to students and teachers?

The access code is automatically generated when you first create a class in the app. The code pops up on the screen.

You can also find the code anytime by signing in as an admin or a teacher, from the Profile Menu > View Classrooms setting in the app.

As with all our digital materials, the account you use to purchase the license is the account that can see and distribute the licenses. The account if identified by the email address used to create it.
